Hello Steemit Friends - It's Monday. I'm as sick as a dog today, but that won't stop me from posting up a new miniature blog ;)

I had a really fun and busy weekend. Kicked it off on Friday with a gig with my band, Oak City Roots. We were invited to play at the annual Sterling Fest, in Sterling Heights MI. Fancy enough, Bret Michaels was the headlining act this year. We got to play in the Suds and Sounds tent - aka beer tent. Nice placement! We had a great time, with a nice sized crowd to welcome us, and plenty of positive feedback (always a bonus). I'm never ashamed of a little self promo... You do what you gotta do, til you get where you're going, and then you keep doing what you do.
