On September 7, 1996, Tupac took 4 bullets after shots were fired at the White Cadillac he was riding shotgun in with "Suge" Knight after returning from the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon boxing match.
The wounds were treated that night at the University Medical Center which was able to get him steady, but not enough to keep him alive as he gave up the ghost on the 13th of September, 1996 at the age of 25.

The story surrounding Tupac's life are mostly controversial and he had previously escaped death after being shot couple of times. He is still considered one of Rap's finest and his songs are still inspiring a generation of hip hop enthusiast.
