Run The Jewels 2017 release, Run The Jewels III, is serious, yet still very fun and creative rap.

This is not the sort of rap that is overly sexual or vulgar. Still, they are rappers so there is some cursing, violence, dissing and brief sexual content, however; this is NOT the overwhelming theme.

I like to compare Run The Jewels to the Beastie Boys when it comes to explaining their temperament. If you like one, chances are good you will like the other. This is very creative, modern music with fantastic beats, great bass, interesting samples, and two vocalists whose sounds blend together rather perfectly.

Is This Political?

Everything is politcal, isn't it? It appears that both members of the band were driven by the recent presidential elections, they are both very outspoken about politics and have been sighted all over Bernie Sander's political scene. So there is going to be some political content from the left and probably even some outright disses on President Trump.

Again, they are rappers, they have lots to say but they always keep up with a good sense of humor. Their videos have many attributes of comedy and they ended up being quite funny on Portlandia in promoting their new album.
