There is a lot happening in the Avenged Sevenfold camp right now and unfortunately not all of it is good. Avenged Sevenfold vocalist M.Shadow is dealing with some unfortunate medical issues that are keeping him from off the stage.
Few weeks back the band released a statement detailing the reason why they had to cancel their upcoming headlining tour just days before it was set to kick off. You can read the statement here.
To sum it up, M.shadow got a terrible viral infection that caused him to lose his voice, a blood blister has formed on his vocal chord and this caused it unable to vibrate properly. But with a proper rest and no singing for three months should heal them perfectly according to his doctor.
Looks like M.Shadow is doing the best he can to get back on track but just a week after that Avenged Sevenfold has also had to drop off their 2018 Louder Than Life Festival headlining spot which is really unfortunate because there are going to be tens of thousand of fans in attendance but again we know that this is something that was a last resort for the band.
Good news is though that Alice in Chains will be replacing them so not everything is bad news there, but it begs the question will M.Shadow be able to recover his voice. It sounds like this is a serious issue and he's working with medical professional to be able to reform his voice.
