Late night Wonder
So I should've been to bed long time ago, but I am a B-human extreme and home alone with the kids, so it got late. I have been drawing, just finished page 13 in my comic (Phill from GCHQ) and have sent it to my proof-reader, Vince. Apart from the spelling I just need an advice from my computer-expert, Met Barnane, then it should be ready. I am especially satisfied with this frame.
But the real reason for writing this is to play a Stevie Wonder song that I have had on repeat all evening. It's the song "As" from Songs in the Key of Life (1976). It starts out as any other Stevie Wonder song with a Stevie Wonder tune that could go anywhere. Not bad, not special either. But then the choir kicks in in the chorus and it just rises, and rises. Above the skies, heavenly good. Some quirky, improvised solos and then the chorus again... swinging. up, up. I just wanted to share this evening groove with you. Here goes:
