What the fork | Music week!
The whole week this week is in in the theme of the new hard fork this week. You can see it on almost all applications that some jamming is happening. Peakd had issues with replying and upvoting. Splinterlands wasn't showing my cards or signing of on my matches. Hive.vote said that the autovoting would have trouble atleast until Saturday with changing to an RPC
You can be annoyed by this all you want but on the other hand you just have to accept it for these couple of days. Everything needs maintainance and I see the forks like that. It is stuff that needs to be done to proceed ahead! In the meantime not to get too frustrated on this rusty ol' fork, this week will be in the theme of music here in the house!
Against the clock
I found this series on Youtube earlier in the week called against the clock where artists put up their vibe in a 10 minute set. The cool thing about it is that you really have good camerawork on their 'office' so you can see really good what they are doing. I guess it will be a week of techno and digital music this week.
The first one up is Rival Consoles. I really love this dudes music and have listened to it a lot over the last year, with in highlight while hiking the Swiss snowy mountains, so I always associate his music with that. It is cool to see how he for instance uses the piano in there and then loops it in. A lot of people do not speak all too high about digital music, but there is a lot of stff behind it I music say!
The next one is from Lady Starlight who you might know from her collaborations with Lady Gaga. It is funny how she mentions how every song should start with a good kicker, and exactly the one she chooses sucks to me. I don't likt that chaotic type of type. I'd rather keep it dark and dreamy for some reason. But man....those self built synths with little cables everywhere it just envyious right? It was funny in which direction she went in the 10 minutes though.
This Surgeon set from the boiler room is actually one that comes from the meme hood. Surgeon is one of the techno pioneers actually and it is cool how to see how he works his gear from scratch. It always needs some time to really kick in
The funny thing about the boiler room series are the audience to close to the DJ. Because you can really see how peopel are experiencing their evening. If you look in the video below you can see the dude with the red shirt get more messed up by the minute till when his drugs kick in. It is hilarious acutally!
This dude turned into a giphy, a meme, and in all kinds of videos as a legendary with his red polo. Look it up!
Ow yeah.. The boiler room series in general are something to lose yourself in with absolutey nothing useful. Just watch the audience and you will always have something to see.
And whenever we can go out again and you want to go to a boiler room set. Be aware of the camera before you end up as a gif
