I wanted to show you some of the list of XXL Applicants that submitted videos to encourage people to vote for them as the 2018 freshmen list. I could go through the full list found here, but usually, only the ones submitting videos land the 10th spot. I will say upfront I hope Pouya wins it. He deserves it the most.

Pouya is just a beast on the mic. He reps Florida strong! I don't like his collabs with Fat Nick, but everything else is great. Especially his collabs with $uicideBoy$

Smokepurpp

Smokepurpp brings a different style from Florida that distinguishes himself from other Florida rappers. He actually got other rappers to follow his style. He's also done plenty of collabs.

Famous Dex

Famous Dex usually brings interesting creativity in his requests for music videos. He has quite a few done with Lyrical Lemonade so I enjoy them. Here si one of them.

Now Two which would be understandable

Lil Skies

Lil Skies has great music videos with Lyrical Lemonade. His style is unique and he expresses himself well through his music videos. Probably my favorite is this one.

I really enjoy his approach to a "constant shot" style with little editing.

YBN Nahmir

YBN is definitely a younger rapper who's beefed with other younger rappers like Tay K 47

Yung Pinch

I really like Yung Pinch. I think he will succeed. I just doubt he will kill the freestyle. He is too positive of a rapper. He also doesn't freestyle well.

Rich Brian

Another person that probably wouldn't kill the freestyle. He is great at his music and is very knowledgable about music theory which gives him an edge in music production.

Now Two People that Just Don't Deserve it Period.

Lil Xans

Fuck Lil Xans. He is riding this no xans train too hard. He is monopolizing on Lil Peep's death and he has no remourse for it. You can tell he is just using it as a stunt. No rapper is dissing him for giving up xans. He has no hardship for it. He still sips lean which is arguably worst. He is not a real rap leader. He needs to be stopped.
