When we listen to indian songs

I am someone that like to listen to music. But also like to understand what it tries to say. There are some songs that don't say a thing, there are others that are heart touching, and there are others that are just noise.
India is a country that has a lots of languages, and people from there create songs with all of those languages. I tried to listen to one punjabi song, which name was "Khaab" and was a song by Akhil.
I liked how the song plays smooth but it is very difficult to understand what it says ! That's why I found a lyrics for it and then with tried to find out what it actually meant. Let me translate some of those lines.
