Highly Suspect. The Boy Who Died Wolf.

I'll just start out by saying, the electric blue vinyl on this album is fucking gorgeous. I think it's wonderful that music still exists in this format, complete with liner notes and artwork to add to the artistic concept.

I've often heard people proclaim that rock is dead, but I think if they give this album a listen they'd definitely retract that statement. The album is loaded with punchy rock riffs, insane solos and incredibly soulful vocals. The songs My Name is Human and Little One are already receiving a fair amount of radio play, but I'd dare to say that any of the songs on this album could find success as a single. From start to finish I found this record a joy to listen to.

For Billy was written during the recording process about a friend that committed suicide. It's a heavier track, but seems to hint at a sense of optimism in a time of feeling devastated. "I promise I'll see you on the other side, we'll get high and go out for another ride"

Chicago is a piano ballad written about the singer and his on/off/on again girlfriend. It comes off as an incredibly raw, and honest confession about wanting to be a better person for someone.

The album also features a cover of the Real Life hit, Send Me an Angel, which I think was incredibly well done.
