WHEN MUSIC IS YOUR ALL-AROUND COMPANION: A Music Blog
When music is your all-around companion.
Greetings fellows Steemians!
In this edition, I want to make a blog about music. How music certainly moves my life wholly and how it has been a part of my daily living- not only me but I guess to all people who just love it. Music, which is already my companion for a long time, gave me a totally wonderful experience since I started loving it.
It all began when my eyes were opened into this world were music already existed. The moment I heard and felt how music moved me as a human being, I started loving it. For this reason also, even before I existed, music was already born.
As a sort of dating back history about music and where it began, Wikipedia states that:
Music may have been in existence for at least 55,000 years and the first music may have been invented in Africa and then evolved to become a fundamental constituent of human life.
Therefore music already had its existence long long ago even before the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In years of existence, the more I am exposed to this contemporary world, the more I am also exposed to different kinds of music.
There are music which can make you sway through ballads and jazz, there are also some which can make your feet stamp on beat with pops, rock and roll, and rhythms and blues, there are also some which can make you travel into the classical time through classical music, some which can inspire you through country music, rocks you with electronic music and many more.
But what I like the most of all the music which I stated is the Country music. I am a person who always wants to see this whole world become a better place and though I want to write a song about it too, but still can't know how- the musical arrangements and more.
I have with me my everdearest ukulele and a flute. Even these two instruments alone, I am already certain that what I am looking for a country music to have it accompanied by a musical instrument is a ukulele. I want a country music with just an 'acoustic' impact to me. And a flute on the other hand gives a peaceful accompaniment which can also exude a music of relief and soothing relaxation.
Moreover, in regards to this blog, what I want to emphasize here is that how music can be your all-around companion. How can it be a companion when all we know to have a companionship is to have someone right beside us?. Well music can just actually be our companion even if it's not a person.
Here are my thoughts about how music can accompany people with this as just a personal experience of mine. You could relate it to yours also fellows.
MUSIC COMPANIONSHIPS
1. Music as a friend
A friend is someone you can count on; you can trust with and you can find comfort from. Music does that all to me. The music given when you strum the ukulele or even play every instrument makes you really feel you have a friend who is on your side. The accompanying release of sound whispers you that you aren't alone. Music is there for you so keep playing it.
2. Music as a stress-reliever
When we are stressed out, some of us wants to go a massage shop and have themselves treated. Some would also go hang-out with their colleagues. Some would just sleep maybe because they're so tired of not having any remedy. Some go depressed. But you know? Music actually provides a stress relief. Whenever I am totally stucked up and feel so depressed due to too much stress and strain, I would really just strum my ukulele and or whistle my flute or even play any instrument I know. Tell you, it's so relaxing most especially the flute. Though it's just playing with notes but it's very effective. The soothing sound released by such instruments just make me drop in tears and eventually releases my stress and depression. Try it too.
3. Music as a happy accompaniment
People who go hanging out with friends and more likely go with a musical instrument with them- may it be a guitar, a ukulele, a flute or anything handy and light. Do you know why they bring it with them? In my case, some hangouts I've been, I sometimes bring a guitar simply just because music brings interaction with some other people. There will be many of your friends who can get along with you when you sing. And altogether you create a happy accompaniment because of the music you played.
4. Music as a comforter
You know when things get rude and times get rough, you can really just go on and play an instrument like me. My experience is that, when I am sad, I just get my ukulele and play it, the accompanying result of the music certainly comforts and eventually you may take refuge from it.
5. Music as an inspiration
Music starting from the old ages up until this modern era continuously and progressively spreads all over the world. In many forms, it is still considered according to humans' culture and life's perspective. In my case, how I consider music as an inspiration is that it doesn't stop at all. But it just continue to improve. Play, not so good, improve, play, until better. We should be like music too. When it seems like we're not giving it all when we work something, we must see to ourselves our very own weak points and perceive how we can make ourselves better. How we can improve ourselves for the better. How we can make ourselves the best version of what we are. Improve, improve, improve, and never give up nor give in. For music does it all to reach its very peak of improvement.
