somewhere praying
The beautiful Kesha who is caught in legal battles with music producer Dr. Luke, is back with new music “Praying”, her first single in four years.
Now the reason why this is so amazing is because she finally gets to decide what her "sound" or music should sound like. She has always been an indie artist at heart, (her unreleased songs will proof this fact) but "they" (SONY) obviously saw more money in the bubble gum pop she could also sing. Don't get me wrong some of her songs were amazing and went number 1 across the whole globe, but this new song is what she's all about.
She has been locked in the legal battle with Dr. Luke who she alleges sexually, physically, and verbally abused her. The law suit prevented her from bringing out any new music.
The song PRAYING is pure art. Kesha wrote in a new essay for Lenny Letter that she has “channeled my feelings of severe hopelessness and depression,” into the moving single, noting, "I have found strength in myself even when it felt out of reach.” Now, she says, she’s found what she thought was “an unobtainable place of peace.”
The music video is honestly the best one she has put out in her entire career. It starts with a spoken word poem from the artist. “Am I dead? Or is this one of those dreams? Those horrible dreams that seem like they last forever?" Kesha asks in the beginning of the video. "I can't do this anymore. Please just let me die. Being alive hurts too much." The message gets more positive from there.
Thank you so much for reading my post.
Be nice to people

I love her new song, this one is truly from her heart and relating to all the hardships that she has been through.
