A R Rehman -  Indian music composer

Allah-Rakha Rahman is an Indian music composer . Rahman's works are noted for Indian classical music with world music and traditional orchestral arrangements. Among his awards are sixteen Filmfare Awards South,four National Film Awards, two Grammy Awards.And Rahman wins the Oscar for Slumdog Millionaire of the 81st Academy Awards.He has been awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award, in 2010 by the Gvt of India.
He is Born Hindu Region in a Tamil Mudaliar family,His father Dileep Kumar was converted into Islam in 1989 and assumed his present name, Rahman.After his father death, his family experienced difficult times; Sufism influenced his mother who was a practicing Hindu and, eventually, his family.During the 81st Academy Awards ceremony Rahman paid tribute to his mother.
Allah-Rakha Rahman is married to Saira Banu and has three children:Rahima,Ameen and Khatija.
