Last week when I was searching music for my post, a name appeared that grabbed my attention. French Latino … And a familiar song … Historia de un Amor … Finished the post and then played the song …
What a beautiful cover !!! Especially the girl that sings in French … It seems they are artists play that latin songs with lyrics in French … I would describe this combination multi-orgasmic …
So, I searched this band and it is a father – daughter project. “El Padrino” Jean Paul, is born in Medea, Algeria in a French family of six children. He moved to France at the age of 17 and started his musical career after his National Service. He went to Paris and followed his destiny, building his reputation in the most prestigious venues of the capital.
Michelle is his daughter. Their project French Latino mixes the Latin and Eastern cultural universes by creating the first mix of Mediterranean Latin music. They take us into the Latin music, with lyrics in French, Spanish and Italian with Mediterranean arrangements giving it a unique musical flavor.
This is a musical match made in heaven … They have recorded three full albums and they have one live DVD as well. “La Vie en Rose” is their latest one released this year.
