Wintergatan - When the mad hatter picks up accordion and starts making music
What you need to know!
You know that feeling when you find something great and just wish to spread the joy to everyone around? That is Wintergatan for me. It is something new in the most interesting way. Wintergatan has an unique way of mixing new and old - you can at times hear the warmth of accordion, welcoming your soul home from a long day's work to rest and the next you could be thinking of love and the sorrows that come with it when beautiful waves of music, from instruments build by the artists themselves, approach you gently like small waves from the sea, when they finally reach the sand beaches, destination. There are mellow and chill songs, that I enjoy more but there is also songs for those who are looking for a bit more action, but this is no drum & bass and Prodigy! We're talking of music boxes and accordions after all!

"The music is boring but what about the marble machine in the picture?"
Well you're in luck as these guys have documented the process of building this crazy looking thing with true passion so there are plenty of videos to see about the project, how it was done and how the machine works after it's finished - for those, just click on the youtube link at the end of this post. I will, however, link the official first music video featuring it for your enjoyment!
Wintergatan deserves all the attention it can get and if there is one more fan after this post - Well that'd be lovely. Enjoy!
