Song of the Day - Rocket to Lee's Little Cloud by Sébastien Léger

Sébastien Léger is an artist that has continued to grow with me as I've become a little more refined in my personal tastes. First coming into my life thanks to a standout release on Ovum in 2003, he tends to operate in interesting area that has ears to both the underground and pop world crafting a sound that pays respect to both. It's why you are just as likely to see him remixing Eric Prydz, Justin Timberlake, or Kylie as you are your favorite underground heroes. Lately though, his sound ha seemingly evolved in a more atmospheric touch that drives much of the Burning Man flavored sounds Lee Burridge and his All Day I Dream crew seem to dominate. Rocket to Lee's Little Cloud seemingly is inspired by his influence and quite comfortably lives in a vibe of open air parties and melancholy strings. It's beautiful stuff. Worth the listen.
