Minus The Bear Concert In Seattle

After @mickeybeaves and I had the most local and creative 5 course dinner we have ever had, we thought we were running late to see one of our favorite bands in the very city they originated from on the last night of their tour. Cody called us an Uber and we anxiously awaited his arrival, when he arrived he was half a block away from us on the wrong side of the road and Cody was so upset with the delay, we found him after what felt like forever and rushed to pick up our friend on the way to the venue. When we got to showbox we were so incredibly lucky to discover they were still setting up for the band and we hadn’t missed anything!

We all went to the bar and got some drinks cheersed and sat down for a minute and reveled over our perfect timing, shortly after we made our way into the crowd drinks in hand to enjoy the show. Minus the Bear was playing their 10 year tour of their Album planet of ice, they played the whole album through flawlessly and then played some of our favorites from a mixture of other albums after they completed planet of ice!

Every time Cody and I see minus the bear their sound is flawless, the band is so in sync with each other and the lead singer has a crisp unwavering voice. Their lyrics are metaphorical and relateable and their instrumental is something you can groove to. It was so great to catch them again along our travels and see them right before we made it into Canada! Stay tuned for our hikes and adventures to come in BC and Alberta!
