RE: Released First on DTUBE: Grand Masquerade from the Englischer Bau in the Heidelberger Schloss!

Like a set of variations - on your own composition I'm guessing - with a Celtic tinge. Violin sound is amazing considering it's live, and up high in the open air: the advantage of electric I guess. Those are some impressive fiddling chops (self-taught or conservatory trained?) and the three of you make a good unit.

Thanks @gussiefinkottle - The song is called Grand Masquerade and is an original yes. Violin is conservatory trained from a young age (3 years old), but much of the styles now are a bit more cross-over than classic! Smart analysis, assuming you're a string player yourself?

No, not a musician at all. That would definitely have been my dream but it wasn't in my background and at a certain point it gets too late and you finish up playing lousy recorder (though I enjoy it). As a kind of amateur musicologist who has listened a lot I can recognize a well-grounded technique, however, and Bennet definitely has one. Just for interest here's a link to my writing around a Spotify playlist covering the history of keyboard music: https://tinyurl.com/yc4xkdrr. Soon I'll be posting here, seeing if I can generate a bit of income, though for the moment I'm finding my way around the ecosystem and community. Best of luck to you guys - certainly looks like you're having a blast.
