It all started simple when I was sitting down with a guitar on my lap and my father was sitting across from me, a guitar in his lap, and despite the strings metallic resistance against the soft unscathed fingertips later becoming calloused with age and experience, there manifested this euphoric phenomenon that happened.... happiness, and even saying “dad this hurts my fingers” a wide smile cascaded across his face as he proceeded to show me the rest of the basic chords like D C B F G A and A minor and E minor. Music was in the Gabriel family blood, and even though he couldn’t spend more time jamming out due to his work and responsibilities at his day time job, he inspired me greatly to keep playing and even to this day claims to be inspired by the music I continuously and ritualistically produce... this blog is dedicated to my father and his heart of humankindness. If it weren’t for his encouragement, who knows where I’d be... I was only 12 and now I’m dedicating my life to learn about other cultures and their musical processes to ultimately determine the correct style & standard with which to proceed when it comes to guitar practice. The blog will spell out travels and adventures in detail as well as musical implications consequently resulting in a pronounced form through guitar lessons being both entertaining and informational to the nonguitarist and guitarist. Enjoy
