I tried to make a HIP-HOP track and it's NOT HIP-HOP

Lately, I've become interested in loops.
I've used loops before but in a different way.
Today I had some free time on my hands so I downloaded some
loops and wanted to see if I can create a sort of a trip/hip-hop song.
Since I've never done this before, I had no preconception of how a
hip-hip song is created or an idea to start with - I just inserted some
loops and started playing around with it.
What I ended up with isn't really hip-hop or trip-hop...
It sounds to me like Massive Attack playing with Herbie Hancock's Head Hunters.
