Ned Flanders band Okilly Dokilly performs “Godspeed Little Doodle” in The A.V. Club studio

So I came across this video over on Digg.com and just had to share.

The band, Okilly Dokilly, seems to be based on the character Ned Flanders from The Simpsons. 

About the band 

Well I'm not sure why any band would pick Ned Flanders to be their model. But it's pretty amusing that  they would pick Ned, who is definitely not metal, to base their music on.

 Okilly Dokilly is the world's only Nedal band. Hailing from Phoenix,  Arizona, a majority of the band's lyrics are direct Ned quotes. The  band's members include Head Ned, Red Ned, Thread Ned, Stead Ned and Bled  Ned.

Established in 2015, the band found success before  ever playing their first show, becoming a viral phenomenon after  releasing just a few press photos and a 4-song demo.  Within 2 weeks,  the band had nearly 30,000 Facebook fans and was featured by numerous  publications including Billboard, Time, The Independent, BBC,  Esquire, Vice and many more.   

I certainly got to give these guy props. They went all out with the Ned outfits. lol. Check out the vids. Definitely different.
