'Nebuloid 7' - New Original Music/Song Idea! Electronic/Solo-Piano/Instrumental +Walkthrough!
This song began
as another little solo-piano exercise, but I added some drums and thought it could use a synth bass, so here's the final product. I like how the progressions never resolve on the 1 of any section, but rather on the 3rd measure of each 4 bar section. Let's go through it!

Track 1, our piano part,
has 2 main sections, the Grey/White that we begin with, and the Blue. I have attached a screenshot below which shows the 2nd set of 8 bars of the Grey/White, going into the 8 bars of Blue consolidated together. We are also in 7/4 here, which is a lot of fun to write it, things are slow enough that it doesn't feel too weird, just sort of like certain parts are elongated/shortened by a beat here and there.

Track 2, the bass, Purple section.

which comes in with the first Blue section of Track 1. There are 2 sections here again, Yellow (with Blue in Track 1), and Purple (with Grey/White in Track 1). The screenshot above shows the purple section, which accents our root notes but has some cool little lines within it to keep things moving. Finally, we have Track 3 which is our drums, which are a bit more filled out during the 'Chorus' (Blue Track 1, Yellow Track 2), and our Verse where it's a bit more sparse.
