'Interuniversal Transport' - New Original Music/Song Idea! Electronic/Instrumental + Walkthrough!

This was a little song idea

I had from a few days ago, which I didn't really finish. A lot of it was just copy-pasta of the same progression, which worked well for layering, but I feel like this could use some variation in beats and maybe a melody. If I wind up adding to it, I'll do an update post. In the meantime, let's go through this version!

Track 1 is our drums,

pretty simple, essentially just a kick/snare beat. Track 2 is the bass (bass guitar sample) which I began writing the progression in. The Purple/Pink and Teal sections are the Verse, with the Chorus in Blue (on this instrument, Red in the others). The Verse is 5 measures of 4/4, holding a C for 2 measures, then down to the Vii, Bb (1 measure), then to an A natural (1 measure), and down to Ab (1 measure), before repeating. The Chorus changes, using 4 bars of 4/4 for each section, and playing each note for 1 measure each: Ab, Bb, Eb then Bb, then the second time through, Ab, Bb, Eb and back to Ab before repeating the Verse.

The CHORUS progression.

Every other instrument basically just

follows along with that same progression, although some are an octave or two higher, to fill in things a bit more. Tracks 3 and 4 provide a super heavy, distorted ambient sound. Track 5 also provides a super deep, bassy synth. Tracks 6, 7 and 8 are all an octave higher, and provide various extra synthy sounds to layer things, and Tracks 9 and 10 use a rhythmic sample, so we get a sort of bouncy effect to the progression.
