Brian Eno - Needles in the Camel's Eyes

I don't think I've ever shared any Eno

songs here before, and since I was listening to the first few in his discography today, I thought this would be a good choice. Brian Eno is definitely one of the biggest names in rock history, and had a very influential solo career, in addition to working with countless other artists as a musician and producer. He helped shape the recorded sounds of groups like Talking Heads and U2. Eno was born in Suffolk, England and while attending college in the '60s, began to delve into the arts, studying painting and experimental music. In the early '70s, he joined the band Roxy Music, playing keyboards/synths for them, where he garnered quite a bit of attention and fame. Throughout the next two decades, he would release all kinds of solo material, ranging from glam-rock to experimental to ambient (a style he definitely helped to bring to audiences). This song is actually the first track on his first solo album, 1974's Here Come The Warm Jets. It has a bit of a Roxy/glam vibe, as this was before he really veered away from that style, though there is clearly a hint at the more experimental sounds that he would really delve into over the next few years.
