Grapthar's Song of the Day: Boards of Canada 'Telephasic Workshop'
Boards of Canada - Telephasic Workshop
Boards of Canada are a super
interesting electronic music duo, made up of Scottish brothers Michael Sandison and Marcus Eoin. They released their first album in 1998, and have continued releasing music every 3 or 4 years until the present day, though their last album came out in 2013, so we are due for another one any day now. They combine elements of dance music with hiphop, and more complex harmonic ideas from pop and rock, to create some really beautiful, compelling songs, and pushing the genre of electronic music into the modern era.

This song is from their
aforementioned debut release, Music Has the Right to Children. This is a great album, and one that I love to listen to while working, as it's interesting and engaging, but as an instrumental, you can sort of zone out and work to the rhythm, and sort of get into a zen/meditative state. This was the first track from it I ever heard, and I was hooked, so if you enjoy it definitely go check out the full album and their discography, you won't be disappointed.
Enjoy today's song! Thanks for checking out my blog, and Steem On!
