'Glick Srease' - New Original Music! Jazz/Rock/Instrumental + Walkthrough!

So this song came together
last night, taking the same basic format as the tune Slick Grease I shared yesterday, an A section and a little B filler section, played once the first time around, two the second. It’s a bit shorter, but I dig the groove here a lot, which came about a bit accidentally, just from staggering the chords, trying to get a little syncopated thing. Let’s go through it!
Listen to Glick Srease here.
Track 1 is an electric piano
like the previous track, with a heavy vibrato/tremolo effect. We have two sections, A (in Blue) and B (in Teal). In the A section, we begin with a Cminor, down to the Vi (Ab), then down to the iv (F), and finally, to the Vi again, before temporarily changing keys, down a minor third to A. We go through the same basic progression in our new key, but end on an Amajor, which makes for a really strong and interesting resolution. The B section begins on an Fminor, to Ab, then Fmin to Gmaj, which takes us back to the Cmin in the A section.

Track 1, Blue (A) Section.

Track 2, Bass, B Section.
Track 2 is the same
bass used in the previous tune, the ‘classic bass’ from Native Instruments. I really like the groove of the bassline, which doesn’t move around as much as the piano’s left hand, but still accents the same parts. Track 3 is our drums, NI’s ‘pop kit’. Tracks 4 comes in only over the B section, adding a little beepy staccato synth line, while Track 5 only plays over the A section, just accenting our root notes.
