Mastodon Wins Grammy Award Category 'Best Metal Performance'

One of my favorite bands is Mastodon, a heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, USA, just won a Grammy award for the category of 'Best Metal Performence.

Previously, if you saw the news last week you might have seen Avenged Sevenfold have successfully boycotted the entire Grammy event.

All personnel of Avenged Sevenfold especially Matt Shadow growled because the Grammy did not broadcast the entire section of the rock award section, notably broadcasting the appearance of Avenged Sevenfold in the event.

Grammy and Avenged Sevenfold disputes did not rule out the victory for one of the bands attending their yap event, Mastodon, Mastodon finally gained a Grammy award to perform their song "Sultan's Curse" from their album Emperor Of Sand in Best Metal Performance .

Mastodon managed to defeat all the heavy rivals such as August's Burns Red "Invisible Enemy," Body Count's "Black Hoodie," Code Orange's "Forever," and Meshuggah "Clockwork" for the award.

Metallica also congratulated the band on the photo commentary section below, saying "Congrats boys!"

Oh yes for the Best Rock Song category won by Foo Fighters with his song titled "Run", Avenged Sevenfold lost to the newcomer band hha, the first time in the history of Avenged Sevenfold lost in this event
