This album sounds intense and hurt in each of its 39 minutes. The influence of groups such as one of my favorite bands Swans, is a distant echo rather than a blind role. The New Wave Loans in Cinema are not self-intended - the parents of vocalist Jehnny Beth are theatrical directors from the French city of Poitiers and, as a young, they irradiate it continuously with the films of Alfred Hitchcock and Francoa Truffaut. The lyrics in this album have nothing to do with emancipation in the classical sense of the word, and rather concern the modern sexual revolution, mental catharsies, sex with inappropriate men and fruitful domestic violence.

This song is recorded entirely live, sounds wild and provokes text. The first single, Husbands, is on the album in the past, as if to avoid being distracted by the rest of the tracks. Cutting guitars, bass and hysterical shouts in the song completely swallow you and make you feel like in a really wild concert. Husbands sounds like unbridled sex just like the whole Savages debut. I strongly recommend this album because the primacy of modern music is a really rare thing. The music that comes out is known before you hear it. The crude in the music today, the madness is just a label and used as marketing tricks, but not as authentic as it came out of the artist's soul.

This band makes me feel the music again.
