A cappella hero metal. Great Van Canto

In our time the musicians trying to surprise listeners in different ways. There is huge selection of different varieties and genres, with two or fifteen participants in one band. But how do you look at the a capella ensemble of participants imitating with their voices various instruments?

In the German group Van Canto six members. Two lead vocalists, of course, sing the couplets. The main notes are performed by the vocals of the raka-takka and dan-dan, that is, bass-vocals.

Fortunately, guys came up with the idea that there must be a drummer in the band and did not make a major mistake. Beat-boxer listener would not be tolerated in power metal. I think it would be more like a parody of a musical genre.

The band Van Canto or "I sing" has been performing for twelve years and, thanks to the peculiarities of the style and, of course, the composition, they have not sunk into obscurity. They have a cool performance of a tru-heavy, with a great melody, drive and just high quality. Let's listen.

And what about the "Master of Puppets" Metallica in a cappella variation?

It seems that the voices of these guys can fulfill any party. Sometimes listening to their music, I forget that they do not have a bass and an electric guitar. It's do'nt need them for nothing.

Of course, in an ideal such bands should be listened in live. It's much easier to understand their work at concerts. The atmosphere itself is important here, which, alas, can't be transmitted on a studio recordings. But they're really good.
