#1 Kent Gustavson - I Know [Rise]
Found this one by browsing through the trending 'music' section. Kent's (@drkent) disctinctive, rich and warm vocals are top notch and the well-shaped tuneful melody makes for the perfect Spring pop song. It's one of those tracks you can easily listen to again and again, but on on your second try you'll already find yourself singing along. Try for yourself :-)
#2 Winter Summer by MoEoStAr
Winter Summer by @moeostar is the perfect Spring track in fact :-) What stands out here, are the competent, skillfully crafted soundscapy melodies perfectly blended into this song. This is what really makes this track stand out and really interesting. Go check it out for yourself and support the artist!
#3 Skills & The Bunny Crew - Valsa
This is so awesome. A memorable and original mix of Rap, Rock, Soul and Fuuuunk by @pedromrmourato! It's really amazing that with this mishmash of styles, it still sounds right, smooth and balanced. This track is from their debut LP 'Musa de Guerra' which is available on Spotify as well. Go click that play button!
#4 Songsmiths Ep 18 - Chris James - Lament
This is the third song from Chris James' Medicated album which was uploaded by @songsmiths. It's imaginative, creative, solid and atmospheric. The meandering rhythm and soulful vocals and a touch of 90s bands like Stone Temple Pilots and Sound Garden make this a memorable track for sure. Looking forward to listening more. Chris James is most certainly a must-hear for any acoustic rock fan out there!
#5 A World Without Mondays (1980s Throwback)
We close today's Discoveries with a throwback to some cool Monday songs selected by @donkeypong. This list was created because he stumbled upon an article about a school district in Colorado that is eliminating Mondays. A great article and ditto songs. Perfect to fuel your Sunday or wait until ... euh ... Monday!
