Wahahah! I usually love Kpop but man, that video was over the TOP!

Awesome reaction video by the way! I really loved the intro, it was smooth and professional!

I think that when it comes to Kpop, because there is so much competition between the other large companies, other bands, and of course the pressure to appeal to a western audience (where a ton of money and attention can come from) they are always trying to create the next big, hip and artsy-poppy thing that they can think of. A lot of these meshes and overwhelming combinations of styles comes right out of that, and on top of that, there is always a huge amount of focus and attention on the main singer, since the image of the actual idol and artist is a huge selling point for the main demographic they are targeting (young women/girls).

There is an entire industry set on just the ideal of these guys, so the music videos are where all of the effort goes in, and the music is made catchy and springy enough to stay in your head. It's very much a different world of entertainment, though they do try to give the idols a chance to put their own flare in whatever they make. It's still a lot more limited than western artists.

I don't know if I liked this video though LOL. Was a bit TOO much for me, and the music wasn't quite memorable enough. GREAT VIDEO THOUGH!
