I just heard this song and i knew i liked it the after the first few lines. This is Ray Wlyie Hubbards song "Drunk Poets Dream" this was recorded in 2011 at a place called Threadgill's Back Room.
A good country song suppose to tell a story be it happy or sad. And this song i think does just that, and i haven't heard mescaline mentioned in to many country songs either or doing it and with a little arson involded lol.
