This Birmingham group was formed in 1984 and released their self titled album in 1985. They went on to have 2 Top 40 hits in Canada, Australia and Britain. But it wasn't until their second and only other album in 1989 that they topped the charts in the USA with their hit song "She Drives me Crazy"

Yes they were. David Steele and Andy Cox were in The Beat. Here we Called the The English Beat. I liked their sound.

I remember their second album-The Raw and The Cooked. I only wish they would have kept going!
