Hello friends of steemit, here I am listening to music ... good music !!! ... from the one our friend Freddie Mercury gave us, so let's talk a little about him, they know that his real name was Farrokh Bulsara and he was native from the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania located on the east coast of Africa, was born on September 5, 1946 his parents were called Jer and Bomi Bulsara and his younger sister Kashmira and were of Persian origin. In search of a better education to his eight years of age he was left to care of his uncles in India and was enrolled in the St. Peter's School (a boarding school for boys) located in Panchgani, where he received a British education, since childhood he was always interested in sports such as boxing and later ping pong where he was awarded as champion in school.

In his childhood years he showed a love for music and entered the school choir and the same director of his school recommended his parents to enroll him in piano lessons, he also developed stage skills participating in school plays. I create his first rock and roll band called The Hectics and they played at school parties. His schoolmates started calling him Freddie, Farrokh's close translation into English.

In 1962 he returned with his family and then moved to the United Kingdom in Feltham (Middlesex, England), fleeing the violence suffered by the island. He continued his studies to become a graphic designer and later left his home to become independent. Without losing his musical interest, he became a follower and fan of Smile banking, composed by Tim Staffell (Ealing classmate), Brian May and Roger Taylor. He left the school where he obtained his diploma in graphic arts and design, and began to rent an apartment with Roger, with whom he had a position in the old market of Kensington to sell second-hand clothes and art, including bracelets and rings. He sang in a group of Liverpool called Ibex, and then made his public debut with the trio formed by Mike Bersin, John Tupp Taylor and Mick MifferSmith, both unsuccessfully, then ventured into the band Sour Milk Sea and at the end of the same year Freddie was the vocalist of the group, but it only lasted months because, in April of 1970, Smile reappeared in his life, since his old friend Tim Staffell had left the band and Roger and Brian asked him to be the vocalist of the group and thus he was born "QUEEN "

Freddie proposed to rename the band and baptized her as Queen (although his friend Roger Taylor was determined to be called Build You Own Boat), created his logo (demonstrating his skills as a designer) and changed his artistic surname, becoming Freddie Mercury. The logo represents the rebirth of this group from discarded bands embodied as the phoenix (which means rebirth) and the zodiac signs of the members of the band: Brian May is Cancer (07/19/47) represented with the crab, Roger Taylor and John Deacon are Leo (07/26/49 and 08/19/51, respectively) represented with the lions and Freddie is Virgo (09/05/46) represented with the nymphs all around a gigantic Q (we already know what does it mean).

And if we talk about her great love, it is mandatory to name her ex-lover, friend and eternal companion Mary Austin, they met in 1970 when Mary worked in Biba, a fashion store in the gentlemen's department, she was in charge of public relations, this store was Freddie's and Roger's favorite, and they always went there to buy boutique clothes, as long as they sold and got money in the post they had in the old market in Kensington (next to Biba). Mary Austin was only 19 years old and Freddie was 24 years old. Freddie was really attracted to her, but Mary made him suffer, spent six months avoiding it and then started dating a friend of both Brian May. Finally I was struck by Freddie that famous day at Brian's house when Freddie imposed the name of the band and convince everyone that they should be called Queen. And I succeed, which impressed Mary greatly.

They were lovers and friends, Brian always said that he had been born for each other and that Mary was really Freddie's mother, that she forgave him absolutely everything, even infidelities. In 1972, Freddie gave him an Egyptian gold beetle ring. Mary that day had come, she was going to ask for marriage, but Freddie said it was lucky. Another of his great loves were his cats. Freddie had at least a dozen cats. He loved them, loved them as if they were his own children.

In 1983 Freddie met his last great love to hairdresser and writer Jim Hutton of Irish origin, at that time he rejected and two years later during a chance meeting in a London bar began their romance, becoming the person who would accompany him until his death . Hutton discovered in 1990 that he was a carrier of the HIV virus, died of lung cancer on January 1, 2010.

Freddy was diagnosed with AIDS after Easter 1987, but he hid it. Due to its appearance and because Queen did not tour the British press fed rumors about a possible disease. In 1991 the manager of Queen Jim Beach announced on behalf of Freddie:
Following the enormous conjecture of the press of the last two weeks, it is my desire to confirm that I suffer from AIDS. I felt it was right to keep this information private until the day of the date to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has come for my friends and followers to know the truth and I hope that everyone will join me and my doctors to fight this terrible disease. Shortly after the announcement on November 24, 1991 Freddie died at 45 years of age because of a bronchopneumonia that he could not overcome (there are no official photos of his last days). He was cremated and his ashes were given to Mary (there are many theories about where they rest, but none confirmed), as indicated in his will dated and read on May 13, 1992 (in which he is the heir of almost all his goods and of your future estate). But as Mary said:
"I never betrayed Freddie in my life and I'm not going to do it now, with the weight of all the memories of the man in my life."
