The Doctor's Advocate is The Game's second studio album released on November 14, 2006 through Geffen Records. Due to his disputes with 50 Cent at the time, Game left Aftermath/G-Unit and signed to Geffen Records. This album has some incredible features and amazing producers on it. One of my favorites from The Game, hands down. Had to buy me a copy. I thought that it was cool that despite his downfall with 50 Cent, G-Unit and Dr. Dre, he still had his connections and relationships with plenty of big name artists to survive in this game.

Songs That Stand Out:

#3 It's Okay (One Blood). Featuring Junior Reid. Produced by Reefa and D-Roc.
This song is a fuckin' banger. This must be played loud. One of the few songs, at the time, that was about being apart of the gang, The Bloods. From what I seen, Bloods started popping up in the music industry a lot more after Game made it popular. And this song definitely made a statement, since the word "blood" is said in this song almost a hundred times.

#8 Wouldn't Get Far. Featuring Kanye West. Produced by Kanye West.
This song is hilarious to me. Game is pretty much talkin' a little shit about the video vixens and Hip Hop groupies that chase these rappers around every where. I remember seeing a small interview where Kanye West mentions that a lot of his women friends called him up and we're like, why you talking about us like that?! I thought that was funny. I mean, these ladies ain't exactly angels. What do you expect?

#11 Doctor's Advocate. Featuring Busta Rhymes. Produced by J.R. Rotem.
If you were a fan of Game's song "Start From Scratch" from his previous album, where he gets drunk before recording and recites the song completely wasted, then you WILL enjoy this one. He does the same exact thing on this song, only this time, he's got Busta Rhymes with him, which makes for an instant classic.

#13 California Vacation. Featuring Xzibit & Snoop Dogg. Produced by J.R. Rotem.
Straight West Coast anthem right here. From beginning to end. Classic west coast style beat, two legends from the coast, Snoop & Xzibit. This song is Gangster Rap perfection. Doesn't get much better than this. I play the fuck out this one whenever I'm riding around. One of the best songs on the album.
