Lauren Ruth Ward is one of LA’s most inspiring acts

On monday Jan 8th, the Echo had its first night of residency for Los Angeles’s up and coming act Lauren Ruth Ward. Over the past year, her band has slowly taken over the night scene in Highland Park, Los Feliz, Echo Park, and greater Los Angeles.

The first time I saw Lauren was at the Hi-Hat  in Highland Park. I fell in love with her electric vibe. She has so much energy behind what she’s doing and she knows how to connect with you on and off stage- literally off stage as in she comes into the crowd and starts singing with you.

Her sound speaks for itself as she has established her place as one of the leading forces in LA’s music scene. If you are looking for something fun to do in Los Angeles, come to her residency at The Echo on Jan 15, 22, 29. She is playing local covers each week.
