The Little British Bird With A Big Song
Watching Miss Jade Bird's work emerge into the recording world has been a riot. I first stumbled into her about six months ago when her track "Lottery" released.
This petite, 20 year old, British girl has a captivating presence and a power in her pipes that caught me totally off guard when she belted out the first chorus I'd ever heard her sing.
More than just a presence and raw vocal power, she seems to be bringing a refreshing and much-needed dose of originality and authenticity to the "Popular Alternative [?]" genre.
