Masacre „Brutal Aggre666ion”
Colombian Masacre has a legendary status when it comes to the world's death metal scene. And rightly so, this must be admitted by everyone who has heard "Requiem". And some time ago the band released another album.

Quite a long time ago, but it reached me late, so I will face what the Colombians propose. On "Brutal Agre666ion" you will find ten pieces, which in principle can be described with words from the title, because Masacre has just prepared such a material. Strong, brutal and aggressive. Melodies are not bowing, but flying in front of each other like a wall of fire. Behind him, he degrades and ashes. In fact - on this front without any changes. I haven't heard the album from a decade ago, and "Muerta verdadera muerte" was my last contact with this group, but at least in comparison to the mentioned album the new shots look better. If you would like to make a comparison, I'll tell you that you can hear a lot of Deicide here, both in terms of composition and production of this album. Maybe not to the first two discs (after all, don't it?), but calmly next to such "Insineratehymn" or "Scars on the Crucifix" you can put "Brutal Agre666ion". And at this point the question arises whether Oracle wouldn't kiss the Colombians on their cheeks - after all, not everyone respects the two mentioned albums of Benton and the company. Well, I like them - or otherwise: I can listen to them without any problems. It's the same with Masacre and their latest work. They don't discover new lands, they don't explore the unknown, they just play the music they like and have been working on for more than a quarter of a century. It wasn't bad for them on their new album.
