Lvcifyre „Sacrament”
They made us wait five years for "Sacrament". And it was worth it. On the material we get four tracks plus a cover about which maybe later. First, the specifics. Lvcifyre did not go off the beaten track - on the new opus it still follows the black/death metal path, leaving a tarry trace. And sulfates. I don't know how much popularity the band gained after inviting the vocalist Cultes des Ghoules to guest performances (to be honest, I've been praising them since their debut!), but the fact is that their characteristic timbre of voice gives a lot to this music. And music is still a conglomerate of wilderness, devilishness... It hasn't been death metal for a long time now, what is it that you're going to be pushing your friend in the mill under the stage. He does the atmosphere here as the main actor, and yet it is still not only a delicate playing for the dressed in black teenagers. "Sacrament" is darkness and evil, but at the same time it is a sultry whipping on the ass. And maybe it's not everyone's approach, because I've already seen voices indifferent or negative to the newest Lvcifyre opus, but in my opinion they're not true. Lvcifyre has recorded a very good material, but I must admit that he will not immediately surprise everyone. You have to give it a moment, sometimes a little longer, and then downhill - it will crush you, I am convinced of that.
