Second to Circuit, my Maschine setup is my favourite thing to put quick ideas on and this is a sample of one of such sessions with a little sketch coming out in the end.

The overall theme is of distance, space, hope with forlorn flashes and dynamic, reassuring waves and confident streaks.

I really enjoy this format as it allows me to take the idea out of my head or experiment with stuff and take it as far as that. Sometimes, of course, these sketches grow up to be real tunes, but that is a story for another day.
