Brevard Renaissance Fair 2017 - The Jackdaws - Galway Girl (2017-02-04)
The Jackdaws perform their rendition of 'Galway Girl' at the 2017 Brevard Renaissance Faire.
'Galway Girl' is a Celtic/folk song but it is a relatively recent one. It was written by Steve Earle who is a sort of jack of all trades (singer/songwriter/author/actor/etc.) and has collaborated with a number of other musicians, mostly Country.
He originally recorded this song with Irish musician Sharon Shannon and it became a number one hit in Ireland.
