Illuminati Congo is a global hiphop/spirtual/reggae/occultic music group based out of Chicago, that is highly versatile and prolific in their endeavors. Frontman, Jahn 'The Baptist' Hooks seamlessly melds Street knowledge, Rasta teaching, Eastern and Western mysticism, Shamanism and metaphysics into his unique sound, a fusion of Hiphop, Reggae and World Music. He has collaborated with the likes of KRS1, Lutan Fiyah, Del the Funky Homosapien, Lee Scratch Perry, Big Youth and Jahdan Blakkamoore to name a few. The man is like a mix between Immortal technique, Bob Marley and Ghandi, well not exactly but just to give you a rough idea. We will be presenting 1 Auckland show only. More info on facebook.
