VOISE: a platform for musicians with cryptographic protection

The whole point of the VOISE project

VOISE - a service that allows you to upload your own (and only your own!) Music to a distributed network that operates on the basis of the Blockbuster Efirium protocol. After downloading files can be sold or given to download for free, for informational purposes. The content is sold for so-called voice tokens, which were released a little less than a year ago in the course of fundraising under the ICO program. Since the required amount for the start of the project was organized by the organizers, it is reasonable to assume that some investors wishing to use the service have a certain number of VOISE tokens available. Those who have VOISE tokens for now are not offered, they are offered to buy on crypto-exchange exchanges (several exchanges are already working with a new musical crypto currency).

With the free distribution of their own songs, everything is more or less clear. This is done by all beginning musicians, and as it follows from the official description of the project, the VOISE platform is oriented first of all to this very segment. Moreover, it is advantageous for a beginning musician to distribute his compositions wherever possible, especially if the music is original and memorable. As for purchases and sales, the question arose.

Exchange rate changes

The performer sets the price for the track in VOISE tokens, based on the current rate. At the time of writing, the token rate was close to one and a half US cents, and the price per track can be set fairly accurately. A week passed, a buyer was found and bought a song. The seller has an unlimited number of tokens, but the exchange rate has changed. If he grew up, the seller would win, if the VOISE token rate fell - in the loser. Possible fluctuations of the course cause most questions.

Combating piracy

The creators of the project claim that they will be able to overcome piracy in their territory. The fight against piracy in this case - indexing (caching) tracks, flooded into their distributed network and checking the network space for the appearance of duplicates. Suppose an attacker bought a track and hammered it into a network, posted it on the forum or distributed it to a tracker. It became known to the administration of the site, but where does the administration find out who exactly downloaded the downloaded content from the download?

The only technical solution coming to mind is to add the code identifying the buyer when selling to the end of the music track, and the code should not be repeated at the same time. If such an algorithm is implemented in the system, it is really very easy to calculate the pirate, and if not, the implementation of the algorithm should be considered. Although ... who of the newcomers is afraid of pirates? If only the swing and listen!

Interface and Search

The interface of the site makes a pleasant impression. In any case, it does not irritate and does not tire. Search is implemented conveniently, you can search by different criteria. For example, on the instrument, or on the genre. A small wish for developers: add the ability to specify several genres and several tools at once, listeners will find it easier to search.

Is the payment terminal on the way?

Until the end of the year they promise to put in operation a payment terminal on the site, through which it will be possible to buy tokens for both crypto currency and for fiat money. Probably the input of such a terminal can be compared with the second birth of the project, since so far the purchase of tokens seems too complicated, especially for users who did not have relations with crypto currency earlier.

The payment terminal, by the way, can be implemented in different ways. It can be a widget of one or several exchanges working with VOISE tokens, or "internal cashier", offering customers a more or less solid course. Let's not forget that any currency, including cryptography, is necessary for the convenience of exchanging benefits, and only then for accumulation and speculation.

Impression

The overall impression of the project (more precisely, what is written about it) is more than positive. The idea to help unknown performers is very noble, besides the labels rip them off as soon as they can. With each sold disc, the group receives 10-15% of the cost, and this money is not always really get in your hands. VOISE offers a lot of liberal conditions: 100% with every purchase! I wonder what will the owners of the resource earn when the number of users increases 200-300 times? On advertising, on promotion of talents or on issue of new tokens?
