FL Studio 12: How to make Synthwave 80s style electronic music - Getting started

Let's keep this short, with this post and a handful of others to come during next week, i want to give you all the tools and info necessary to prepare you for Synthwave music production as fast as possible.

The software of choice, especially for beginners, is FL Studio 12: easy to use, intuitive and there are hundreds of tutorials out there. I'll link the one I've learned from, probably the best:

Watch the 12 videos and you should get how the program works, remember: practice makes you more comfortable.

Now for some Synthwave production techniques, which are of the upmost importance, i suggest you watch these 2 videos from TheEncounter.
