The Dinosaur Song (original improv children's music)
A good old
foot stompin' dinosaur song. This is loosely structured improv singing about dinosaurs as prompted by @thingone. BTW I was not familiar with "indoraptor" but @thingone was very clear in what he was saying so I sang it and then looked it up later. Turns out this is a (fictional) hybrid/chimerical dinosaur from the new Jurassic Park movie. @thingone is already more plugged in to popular culture references than me, apparently. I think his cousin Evan clued him in on the indoraptor when they were playing dinosaurs on Thanksgiving. The Dinosaur Song
Dinosaurs referenced in this song:

Parasaurolophus is a long time favorite of @thingone, they have the crazy looking tube type thing sticking off the back of their skulls. I have read a theory that there would have been skin connecting the tube to the body so it would have been more like a sail, but they are typically not depicted that way in illustrations. I have always imagined them trumpeting out of the tubes. These are members of the hadrosaurids, the duck billed dinosaurs. Warms my cockles that @thingone correctly sang an improv verse about being a plant eating dinosaur :)
Pteranodon

Pteranodon is not technically a dinosaur, being in fact a pterosaur :) But that didn't stop @thingone from including them in the dinosaur song. As a bonus here is a different pterosaur I drew once as an illustration for a D&D game, ye olde dimorphodon:
Indoraptor

As mentioned above, the indoraptor is a fictional beastie. Honestly I am not crazy about the Jurassic World franchise making up novel dinosaurs. Part of the charm of the original to me was that it inspired kids to learn about real life dinosaurs. Oh man this reminds me of a post I have to write, a friend of ours accidentally bought a Christian/Creationist dinosaur book for @thingone for his birthday and it is the most hilarious thing I have ever read. They really have to stretch to fit dinosaurs in to a timeline that has the entire age of the earth at less than 10,000 years old :joy:.

Well yes of course the king tyrant lizard himself had to make an appearance. Actually @thingone usually roleplays as a mother T-Rex so I should say the Queen tyrant lizard herself. I was mildly disappointed to read tonight that the evidence for sexual dimorphism in T-Rex's has been weakened - I always liked imagining that the female T-Rex's were bigger.
Lovely! Bravo Carl
Thanks @mayneth that means a lot to me coming from you! Salud!
