"The Brothers Vinyl" - Heroes of Austin Live Music [Documentary Short Film]

in #music8 years ago (edited)

If you've ever questioned the accuracy of Austin's claim to fame as the Live Music Capital of the World, see The Brothers Vinyl (http://www.brothersvinylmusic.com). In this past year, the band recorded a song a day; that's 365 songs in 2015. Here's the story of this historic feat in creative expression, and a call to action for artists everywhere to devote themselves to their passions for the sake of mastering, valuing, and sharing the gift of their art for the world to appreciate.

And the music is fabulous, of course. Personally, I recommend listening to: "#173 Shine," "#167 Where I'm From," and "#230 Greatness." This music is featured in @wildfamily's original video series, Wild Family.

Cool video. Their project reminds me of a good acquaintance of mine doing a series of 1 minute songs.
