Charli XCX and Troye Sivan Release Iconic MV for "1999"
A week ago the duo graced us with a collaboration we haven’t been expecting. “1999” is a nostalgic song filled with pure fun and the joy of delving into the past, the memories of the careless times, like singing Britney, Michael Jackson, remembering CDs, JTT and lots of other nostalgia enducing stuff.
Charli and Troye released a music video for the song, where they poke fun at random pop culture moments of the 1999. They recreate a scene from the legendary “Titanic”, mimic throwback commercials, trends, dodge bullets like they did “The Matrix” etc. There’s even a cameo of Troye Sivan as Justin Timberlake with his iconic noodle hair. It’s a really entertaining music video to lighten up your day and feed your nostalgia monster for a long long time.
