RE: The story of the ear (shout out to all DJ's, Music producers & Music Lovers)

in #music6 years ago

I wish more people would realize this. The worst place for us was when we used to go to a very contemporary church. The music was SO loud that my husband's ears would ring for 24 hours after we went. We stopped going to the music portion, talked to the people in charge over and over, but no one would listen. We finally stopped going altogether because it was always so deafeningly loud.

My husband has dealt with tinnintus for years and who knows how many things exacerbated it. It is horrible for him to deal with!

Thanks @BynThereDoneThat for sharing you and your husbands story. There needs to be more awareness spread around this subject!

Absolutely! Especially because once the damage is done, there is often nothing you can do about it. My husband has suffered from progressive tinnitus and struggles with depression and focus because the ringing in his ears is so bad all the time. We have tried everything and he has researched only to find that even wealthy people with lots of resources can't seem to fix it.
