Great insightful post @rok-sivante. I love your questions at the end. I am an active musician so there is a lot of music that has helped define me as an artist and a person. I would have to say Experimental music has had the biggest impact. This has taught me to be free from limitations of other styles. There was no wrong or right. Love it!!!!!!
