What is the Sound of the Fear? – Week 7 [New music]
Eyes closed, darkness erasing objects and people little by little, as if the rays of the moon were in the reverse direction, being consumed, leaving in their wake the emptiness of silence. The prison of the mind.
Fear
The naked soul, invaded, profaned. The hands cold, pale, sore. The air increasingly scarce. The chest, empty. The heart, like the hands of a baby clinging desperately to the fingers of its mother, seeks refuge.
Fear
Foreigner without a homeland to return, it tries to build its home of ashes in our senses. It scales by every inch of the skin. It paralyzes our body. It increases the need to flee, although it doesn't allow it. To scream, although nobody listens to us. We are alone.
Alone with its company.
Its shapeless body embraces us, we cannot reject it. Its love tastes like a sweet deception, and with its presence, it shrinks us until we become tiny beings. We are renegades, dogs that lick their wounds. We are incapable of rebelling.
Its voice is a soft whisper, pleasant, imperceptible. It sings the melody of madness for us. The sound of our pain. The song of the deep secrets. Each verse draws panic in our mien. The face pales, the body becomes numb and we end up trembling in the gloom of our dark-reality.
We cannot escape.
It hums. Its silent song is heard from every corner of our mind. Its melody is repeated infinitely and each time we lose ourselves more. We are the prey of panic, slaves of our nature, and victims of its weapons. It is implacable.
Torture specialist. Its cuts are imperceptible, clean, deep. It hurts the most sensitive of us, destroys confidence, annihilates the will. We can only cry out to the void and receive the echo of our cries. Every effort is transformed into despair, the strength of the body escapes us. We lose our reason and the senses fall asleep, as do we.
Our despair numbs us in a deep sleep that extinguishes our whole body but not our mind. It is a dream that prevents us from closing our eyes. We are under your control. Fear has paralyzed us and dominates every corner of our being. We can not escape anymore.
We are only its prey.
The endless path
The reverse rays of the moon
The shadow of a thousand swords
The silent cry of madness
The most powerful masks

This is such an interesting topic. I have never really thought about how audio could simulate fear, I guess for me the most recent sound I've heard that taps into a fear instinct is the soundtrack of the annhilation movie. I'm not really afraid of it, but it makes me curious in a fearful way.
Exactly, that is the sensation that I experiment with the music who I selected. It does not necessarily lead me to feel fear, but a kind of nervousness or anxiety that can turn into fear or some other feeling. However, your choice is very precise and interesting. Thank you very much for sharing it, I think it's an excellent choice.
