In Christ Alone - Christina Grimmie Tribute by Brittin Lane

I wanted to create this video as a tribute to Christina Grimmie. I chose to cover ‘In Christ Alone’ because I love this song, and also because the first video of Christina’s I ever watched was her cover of this song. I attempted to film a brief video after the cover, but couldn’t quite get the words out, and so I will be writing here instead.

I remember the first cover of yours I ever watched. It inspired me, and seeing your love for music and desire to help others and spread positivity through it, inspired me even more. You, amongst other 'internet musicians,' inspired me to start my own YouTube Channel. I heard the news a few days ago while filming a cover - my heart broke. You had an infectious smile, and you were so compassionate and radiant with your love for God. You will be so missed by so many people. I don't understand why this happened, but I do know that Heaven gained another angel on June 10th. Thank you for everything.
